Volunteer/Donate Goods
Cook a Lunch
Fill our greatest need by donating one or more homemade, nutritious meals. Warm, hearty family-style meals, offered every day we’re open to participants, make on the rise feel like home and are central to creating community.
Donate Time
Join over 350 volunteers who let women, transgender, and nonbinary people often shunned by society know they matter. Share your time, talents, and resources as a group or individual and be a part of our community.
Without direct contact with participants, we offer many ways to create a caring space while respecting the privacy and confidentiality of those we serve.
Help Set Up
Help us prepare for the week on Mondays from 3:30 to 5:30 PM. Special group service days can be scheduled on weekends or evenings.
Projects include:
Sorting and organizing clothing and toiletries
General grounds clean-up – garden work and handy work in and around the house
Preparation for special events
Research and computer work
Small food assembly projects and other seasonal tasks
Donate Items
Organizing a drive with your company, school, religious organization, friends, family, or club allows participants to get needed toiletries, clothing depending on the season, household goods and appliances.

Promote your drive with emails, signs, social media posts, and announcements at your school, job, or organization.
Invite a Development Team member to speak about On the Rise and why these drives help participants.
