In 2017, On The Rise served 420 women and helped hundreds of women who have transitioned into housing. We continue to see an increase in the number of homeless and recently housed women we serve. The Prepare for Winter Dinner raises crucial funds which help us to create a community where more women from Greater Boston have the safety, relationships, and resources they need to move out of homelessness.
Make a tangible difference and add your name or your company’s name to a list of our supporters. Each sponsorship opportunity is a way for you to share your heart, to support our women in need, and to add your voice and resources to make a difference that matters in this community. The Prepare For Winter Dinner - THANK YOU!
Last Thursday, more than 400 guests joined On The Rise for the 20th Anniversary Prepare for Winter Dinner. We are excited to report that, thanks to you, we raised over $224,000 in critical funds to support our Safe Haven and Keep The Keys programs at 341 Broadway!
We were delighted that so many of you gathered to hear from our Event Chairs, Anthony Koenig, Jr. and Susana Rojas Chiros, and our speaker, Board Chair, Carol Goss. During the evening, we were very proud to honor a long-time volunteer and friend, Gilda Bruckman, for her devotion to the women of On The Rise and her inspiring work with them.
We want to say a special thank you to the seven On The Rise women who generously shared their reflections on their unique and special relationships with On The Rise in the evening's video.
Thanks to your generosity, nearly 450 On The Rise women from Greater Boston will find safety, tangible essentials, and the supportive relationships that they need to overcome challenges and move out of homelessness.
We want to express our sincere gratitude to each and every one of you.
Thank you for your commitment to the community,
Your friends at On The Rise
